What is Osteopathy?

Osteopathy is a manual medicine that aims to restore the mobility and motility of the structures of the body in order to eliminate or lessen the various functional problems that are related to the pain and symptoms of the person treated.

Osteopathic treatment aims to promote a return to balance and improve overall health. The osteopath uses a fine and precise palpation to detect and put back into motion the structures and systems of the body (bones, joints, ligaments, muscles, tendons, organs, viscera, cranial sutures, circulatory system, digestive system, etc.). The osteopath adapts to each person and will make a unique treatment each time.

Osteopathy also treats people at all stages of life, from infants to the elderly, through to pregnant women, to preserve or recover a harmonious health.
